isuma in Venice

The artist collective Isuma presented an exhibition at the Canada Pavilion for the Biennale Arte 2019 in Venice, which featured the film, One Day in the Life of Noah Piugattuk, a digital archive of Indigenous films, Isuma TV, and a series of live broadcasts from the arctic, Silakut Live from the Floe Edge. ISUMA was organised by the National Gallery of Canada and curated by Asinnajaq, Catherine Crowston, Barbara Fischer, Candice Hopkins and Josée Drouin-Brisebois.
